01 — About
Agents can find it, book it and buy it. Someone still has to pay.
Grosso is the line between an AI agent and a person’s card. The agent asks, the human taps, the merchant gets paid — and nobody in the middle holds the money.
- per payment, after the first $50k
- 0.1%
- ever held by Grosso
- $0
- Apple Pay, in iMessage
- 1 tap
- default request expiry
- 24h
02 — Principles
Three rules we don’t bend.
- Never hold funds
- Money goes from payer to the merchant’s Stripe account. Our fee rides along as an application fee — never a balance we sit on.
- The human taps
- An agent can ask for money, never take it. Every payment and every agent-requested refund needs a person’s yes.
- Every state is an event
- Created, paid, refunded, disputed — each one is a signed webhook you can replay.

03 — Why now
Chat is the new checkout.
Agents already run errands in iMessage, Slack and WhatsApp. The moment they need money, they hand the human a link and lose them. We built Grosso so the ask happens where the conversation already is.
We run on Cloudflare, settle through Stripe Connect, and keep the API small enough to fit in a tool definition.
